If you’re planning around August 12th and want to stay in the area a couple of extra nights, there are some interesting places to visit on the Sunrise Trail. I just spent a couple of hours looking up things in the area and I’m so excited for another adventure trip in Nova Scotia. We have an amazingly beautiful Province with some of the best scenic drives in the country.

Train Station Inn – Tatamagouche, NS (16 km from Campsite)
Balmoral Motel – 15 km from campsite in Tatamagouche, NS
Scottish Pines Resort – 12 km from Campsite – beautiful cabins
Fox Harb’r Resort – 15 km from campsite (super fancy resort)
Things to do & See in the Area:
Wallace Bay National Wildlife Area – 13 km away up Highway 6
Jost Vineyard – Hwy 6 about 6.5 Km from the campsite
Sugar Moon Farm – Love Maple syrup? This ones about 40 km down the road but would be a good bet if you’re staying in the area for a couple of days.
Basic Spirit Pewter – check out this shop in Pugwash NS for some beautiful pewter options for a souvenir memory of your trip.
Parks Nova Scotia – I didn’t even know this site existed until I started doing up this page! Blue Sea Beach is 13 km away and Rushton’s Beach is 30 km up the road.
