The Board Members of Bikers Down Society for all of Nova Scotia would like to take a moment to recognize the impact of the loss of another brother in our riding community.
On Saturday as we started to receive all our guests for Toadstock, a man who has supported Bikers Down for a very long time arrived from a beautiful ride up to East Wallace just so he could stop in, make a donation and have a chat with old friends.
We heard about the bike accident that afternoon as the biker games had gotten underway but no one is ever prepared for the shock of the loss of a friend, a brother, a biker, and an outstanding soul.
So many kind words were spoken today as the news was shared with us that indeed it was Lloyd who had just taken his last ride.
We offer our condolences to the family and friends of Lloyd and will share information as to his memorial / funeral as we become aware of it on our blog and facebook page.
We took a moment last night to remember our brothers and sisters who are no longer with us, but we’re certain they were there for the celebration of life we had this weekend.
For now, we can say Rest in Peace and repeat The Biker’s Prayer against the backdrop of a beautiful summer sunset at East Wallace Motorcycle Campground captured on August 11, 2018.
