On behalf of all the attendees, the volunteers and the Board members of Bikers Down Society in HRM, we want to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the veterans who serve and served our country and those who were able to make it today to ride with us in support of the biking community in Nova Scotia.
We rode to donate the funds to Veterans PTSD and bring awareness to their causes and upon presentation of the funds, Gus Cameron – current HRM Region Representative – donated the money back to Bikers Down Society so we can provide assistance to more injured bikers and continue the outreach and awareness work we do. The donated total today was $ 1230.00.
We are truly humbled by the Veterans and their generosity today and it really shows a strength of humanity and character to know that the motorcycle community will continue to show up and support each other through difficult times and also continue to show up and support the community at large when needed. Bikers have tremendously generous spirits.

A shout out to Peter Norman who won the 50/50 draw and donated the money back to Bikers Down as well. Half the take was $110.50 so another $221 was added to the funds.
We raised $441.00 from the BBQ proceeds, plus $20 from patch sales and another $35 donated to Bikers Down.
In total we raised $1947.00 dollars today to help out injured bikers. Please make sure everyone knows about us and how to apply for help. https://bikersdown.com/application/
