Monte’s Dance was a complete SUCCESS!

Our event was a huge success this year with over 130 tickets sold at the door, 50/50 draw, lobster draw and our door prizes.   Hope most of you got a taste of the cake we had for Danny & Mike and David, husbands of and UN-CO-ERCD volunteers of Marlene, Brandie and Tracy.

We raised just over $2000 last night and we so appreciate all the love and support.

Blaine Salchert won the Smitty’s Gift basket worth over $200 which was donated by Smitty’s Family Restaurant owners Ernie and Heather who have always supported over the past 10 years.

Debbie and Steve – also longtime supporters of everything we do… well they won the 50/50 last night worth $182.00 .  Sorry Debbie, I trolled your facebook pics and found this photo from last year’s dance 🙂

I remember congratulating the man who won the lobster prizes but I didn’t get his name … and well… you know the rest.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next event – June 24th is the Angel Memorial Ride for all our brothers and sisters who are no longer with us.

There is also a ride in Cape Breton the same day Memorial Ride to Remember

Put a Pin in this Date for your Summer Road Trips – Toadstock 2018

Exciting news as we will host Toadstock again at the East Wallace Motorcycle Campground.

We have decided to shorten the party to a one all day / night event.

We’ll have the biker games, BBQ, prizes and more.

For this event only, Mark is going to make an accommodation area so that attendees who wanted to bring their motorhome /trailer can have a spot as well.  There will be hook up services available, but there will be on site, toilets, shower facilities, and other amenities.

There is enough area here to put up a lot of tents and bikes.  The spot is right along the water as well and there are plenty of picnic tables.

Entry fees for this event:

$20 per person – this includes your camping fee for the night.

Poker Run will be $5 and cards will be pulled at the end of the ride.

Maps will be available and you can use your google maps gps using this link  –

Great Weekend at Motorcycle & Powersports Show

What a great weekend at the Motorcycle & Powersport Show 2018. Bikers Down Society wants to thank the show organizers for arranging for all the donated items that we held a silent auction on this weekend. We were able to raise $850 from the auction and $484.50 from the 50/50 draws that were held over the 3 days.

We also wanted to thank all of our volunteers for their participation this weekend and a special shout out to Terry Boutilier for his volunteering for the whole weekend.

50/50 winners from Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to everyone who came out to visit us at the Motorcycle & Powersports show.

Congratulations to the draw winners.

The Backroad Ball All Ladies Rally Tickets Open again

Just a reminder for the ladies the tickets are opened up again for The Backroad Ball in June and us BDS gals went last year and loved it.

Backroad is also supporting Bikers Down Support which is an affiliate chapter opened in New Brunswick by Mickey Burden.

Bikers Down is a cause that we would be happy to share across Canada and we’re donating a prize package for the giveaways that weekend.

You’ll make some friendships that last a lifetime and span the generation gap.
