Toadstock Teams Up With East Wallace Motorcycle Campground

Well folks, what a day.  The Bikers Down crew took a ride up to East Wallace today to check out the digs for our Toadstock summer party and it’s going to be AWESOME!!

Here are a few tidbits:

Leaving Riding in Style at 10 AM on August 12th.

Poker Run will be condensed to $5 and pick your five cards when we arrive at the Campground.

Registration will be on site – $20 per person – This is a great deal and supports Bikers Down Society efforts year round.

Campers and support vehicles are permitted for this event only.

We would encourage this to be a adult only event – especially since it’s a one night affair this year.

Vendors are welcome, we will ask you to pay $20 per person head charge and bring your own table / set up for vending.  Please pre-register by contacting Brandie at brandie.lavoie@gmail.com

Maps will be available and you can use your google maps gps using this link  – https://goo.gl/maps/ugn45ALFQHL2

Bike games on site are going to be epic with a new trophy donated by George aka “Mucker”.

There are lots of spaces for trailers – no service hookup though.

People who are coming for the day are going to have a parking area at the front of the grounds as well.  Price is still $20 per person for as long as you want to stay… we of course want you to stay for the party!

Onsite facilities include washrooms and private walk in showers for the overnight attendees.  We will also have a couple extra port-a-potties up at the front of the grounds.

BBQ dinner will be sold on site as well with proceeds going to Bikers Down Society.

Entertainment and ensuing party will be as fun as you expect…

Here are some photos of the grounds.  I’ll be posting a video hopefully soon as well.  If you want to pre-book a spot for your group, just call Mark at

Toadstock – Trip Planner

If you’re planning around August 12th and want to stay in the area a couple of extra nights, there are some interesting places to visit on the Sunrise Trail.  I just spent a couple of hours looking up things in the area and I’m so excited for another adventure trip in Nova Scotia.  We have an amazingly beautiful Province with some of the best scenic drives in the country.

Other Places to Stay:

For those who don’t want to camp, there are several motels in the area to choose from:

Jubilee Cottage Inn – Wallace, NS (4.4 km from Campsite)

Dutch Mill Motel – Wallace, NS  (5.5 km from Campsite)

Train Station Inn – Tatamagouche, NS (16 km from Campsite)

Balmoral Motel – 15 km from campsite in Tatamagouche, NS

Scottish Pines Resort – 12 km from Campsite  – beautiful cabins

Fox Harb’r Resort – 15 km from campsite (super fancy resort)

Things to do & See in the Area:

Wallace Bay National Wildlife Area – 13 km away up Highway 6

Jost Vineyard – Hwy 6 about 6.5 Km from the campsite

Sugar Moon Farm – Love Maple syrup?  This ones about 40 km down the road but would be a good bet if you’re staying in the area for a couple of days.

Basic Spirit Pewter – check out this shop in Pugwash NS for some beautiful pewter options for a souvenir memory of your trip.

Parks Nova Scotia – I didn’t even know this site existed until I started doing up this page!  Blue Sea Beach is 13 km away and Rushton’s Beach is 30 km up the road.

Restaurants in the Area :

Tourism NS has a great new app on their website for finding food & drink in the Province by region….

Good Cheer Trail
